On behalf of the OMF Foundation Board of Directors, I am pleased to inform you that Objective and Surjective Outcomes Following Maxillomandibular Advancement Surgery for Treatment of Patients with Extreme Severe Obstructive Sleep Apnea by Reginald H. Goodday, Susan E. Bourque and Pember B. Edwards, published in Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Vol 74, Issue 3, p583-589, was selected as the recipient of the 2017 OMS Foundation Daniel M. Laskin Award for the most outstanding article published in JOMS.
